The Nyerere Children multimedia exhibition


A multimedia exhibition for the children was conducted today the 14 October 2012 at the Tanzania National Museum and House of Culture to honor, respect and remember the late father of the nation Mwl. Julius Kambarage Nyerere who passed away on 14 October 1999.

The exhibition included children visiting the museum and watching two documentary movies on the history of Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere documented by TBC,

After the visit it was time for the performances at the house of culture theater hall. Before going to the performances, children received present from the sponsors; American Garden.

 After a great speech it was then a time for the performances. The performances started with Karate from Mabibo Islamic followed by Dances and songs from various school, all to honor the late Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere. After each performance there was a question and answer sessions where children were asked questions and those who got the right answer were given presents.

The exhibitions today calls for the Second children arts and Culture festival which is just around the corner. The festival is expected to take place in 7th and 8th December, 2012.
